The essential characteristics of an AMOTEKKIE!

Welcome to AMOTEK! Many sides have been written about corporate cultures, and we like to contribute our side. Joining our team entitles you to the status of AMOTEKKIE, a special title that is respected in our community in addition to being an employee. When we have to describe the group and the atmosphere at AMOTEK, we can actually conclude that we are a bunch of IT freaks together - but very driven freaks. Each member of our team is a motivated and passionate individual with unique skills and interests. Of course, we all have our own character, but we still have some things in common. We list them here for you:

1. Have fun: technology is our playground

If technology doesn't mean anything to you, it's probably because you haven't met the right kind yet. Technology equals fun, or at least in our eyes. What's more, technology keeps it fun for so many other people. If you have to compare our interests to anything, think of an insanely cool playground, but with digital toys for adults. Super fun! Have we used too much fun in this text? Then that's because it is.

2. Have impact: technology that matters

Our society is changing every day and technology is at the root of it. Think back to the time when we were all addicted to the game 'Snake' on our old Nokia phones. Nowadays, teenagers can hardly imagine what it was like to live without smartphones. This is just one small example of how technology has profoundly changed our lives. At AMOTEK, we are well aware of the influence that technology has on our daily lives and that's why we strive to make a positive impact with our projects.

As AMOTEKKIE’s, we want to use technology to make the world a little better. We work with companies and entrepreneurs who like us and believe in the power of digital innovation. Our mission is simple: to ensure that the technologies we develop and implement are not only innovative, but also have a lasting impact on our society. Whether it's optimising business processes, building sustainable digital solutions or supporting start-ups in their growth, we are committed to bringing about meaningful change.

3. Being smart: learning together, growing together

A true AMOTEKKIE does not keep their knowledge to themselves. We strongly believe in the power of sharing knowledge. Within AMOTEK, there is a culture of continuous education and collaboration. When you stand at the coffee machine, it can happen that you start a conversation with a colleague who tells you about a book he just read on thought leadership  or about an interesting person he met during an inspiration session. These kinds of conversations are the norm for us, and help us as a team to constantly grow.

This shared knowledge is one of the keys to our success. When we learn together and share our insights, we not only become individually smarter, but also stronger as a team. This leads to better results for our customers and partners. Additionally, we get energy from innovative ideas. Nothing makes us happier than hearing a start-up pitch its vision, and when we feel the 'AMOTEK vibe', we are ready to make that dream come true together.

4. Because it can be done: the results will follow

Although we initially discussed three core values, providing excellent service is a fourth value that naturally follows from the first three. The outcomes are simply the best when we all have fun, contribute, and learn from each other. At AMOTEK, we firmly believe that success will come easily when we live up to our principles. The quality of the services we offer to our clients and partners reflects this.

Our objective is always to provide the best, whether we are developing a cutting-edge software solution or laying out a strategic growth plan for a start-up. We act in this way because we can, not because we must. The ideal AMOTEKKIE works hard every day to live up to these principles and support the group's and the business's success.
